Nikki & David, The Netherlands

Theirs was truly a dream wedding that, being the first of its kind in Galicia, challenged us all but far exceeded our hopes and expectations. A three-day wedding, the wedding began on a Thursday with a welcome cocktail and dinner on a boat, with over 180 guests from all over the world taking a beautiful cruise down the Ría de Vigo, with the night culminating in a fabulous display of fireworks over the water.

The second day was a particularly special one for us all, when we succeeded in transforming a traditional Galicia pazo into a locale reminiscent of New Delhi, complete with food stalls serving international drinks and foods, flowers pathways emulating a busy Indian street, and jasmine and rose incense recreating the flowery scents of India. The night began with the groom’s entrance on a horse, was followed by choreographed dances by professional Indian dancers, the bride’s family and the couple themselves, and was capped off with fire dancers enthralling the guests!

On the third day, the guests were treated to a traditional Galician wedding. The wedding ceremony was breathtakingly romantic, led by the bride’s and groom’s best friends, in a pazo whose garden looked like a wild English garden. The guests were greeted by acrobats and dancers, were entertained during the cocktail by one of the best live bands in Galicia, and enjoyed a spectacular dinner by a Michelin star chef.

Truly, the wedding was one-of-a-kind… the dream of a couple who lived far away and who trusted us to bring their vision to reality. Nikki’s and David’s dream became ours, and we are so pleased to say that it was an absolute success!
